DON DIEGO AND TAIRONAKA TOUR PLAN 1 DAY
Small town located near the mouth of the Don Diego River. It houses within its boundaries an indigenous reserve, with Tayrona terraces and trails to the Sierra Nevada. Only 5 minutes by boat on the river you have access to Taironaka, a place where you can find archaeological remains of the first inhabitants of Santa Marta.
The river’s beaches facilitate bathing in the cool waters coming from the mountains and the practice of tubing or float down the river, an activity that has gained a lot of interest from locals and tourists. Its tropical rainforest, home to trees up to 40 meters and the greenery of its lush landscape, refreshing and crystal clear waters.
The program can be adjusted according to the level of gastronomic demand, professionalism of the guild or if it is a pedagogical output of gastronomy students.
